Are you for texting while driving?

I am for texting while driving  because if you can muiltitask and do two things at once then you can text and drive. It doesn’t take a lot to send a text nowadays and most texts sent are short and easy to send while driving. When  you are texting you are still looking at the road. You never really loose focus on driving because  you still are driving.

Texting while driving should be legal because you cant always call and talk  to someone ,sometimes you  can only reach them thru a text.If someone is at work ,its easier to send a text than to call if they are in a hurry or  in an important meeting,Lastly I feel as though if I own  my phone I can use it whenever and however I want to use it because it  belongs to me.

Interactive Devices

 

Interactive devices are beginning to make their mark in the world. The article I choose withstands this thought of future technology. It talked about how the computers of the world today will be replaced with interactive computers tomorrow. Wouldn’t it be great to control your computer with your hands, rather than using a keyboard? The new technology could be a huge transition however it will be user friendly. Also in the article it talked about how interactive devices will be highly interactive. An Oblong Industries’ g-speaker says “computer interface will fundamentally change the way people use machines at work, in the living room, in conference rooms, in vehicles”(independent news 2010). I think this will be a win-win situation for all parties involved, it will make some things easier.

I am against texting while driving.I feel it is dangerous and is the cause of many accidents. If texting while driving was eliminated, we would have less texting while driving accidents. There have been a lot of accidents that have could been avoided due to texting.So if we cut down on texting converstations, a lot of accidents would be avoided.

I am against texting while driving because statistics show that most accidents  are from teen drivers being distracted  by texting. Whether sending a long text or short text you still are taking your eyes off the road.In a split second anything can happen and  if  you  are not paying attension to the road that second can make or break you meaning can be fatal all because of a text that  could have waited until you got to your  destination.

All about Tanea

 

Born November 17th in Land Bremen, Bremerhaven Germany breeds Tanea Preston. Tanea was a child born to parents in the military and stationed in Germany in the late 1989. They lived there for a while then relocated back to the States. As a young child Tanea moved around a lot living in several different cities before settling in Johnstown, Pa at the age of 3.

                  As a young child Tanea easily excelled at academics and sports. At the early age of 1 Tanea knew how to walk and talk,as well developed a love for sports. She picked up a basketball and has been playing ever since. At school Tanea was very well known, courteous and outspoken. However it was the basketball court that her true personality came about. Tanea graduated in the class of 2008 with the top half of her class and a college offer to play basketball. Later that fall, Tanea attended Penn State Fayette, for a year and later transferred to her current school Penn State Greater Allegheny.

Smart phones can carry a lot of information. They are not a necessity,but  show  that you are up to date with technology. Smartphone apps are now adding another field to the apps which are medical apps. Medical applications on device have to be reliable and dependable. The information it provides is very important to the individual. The article I read talks about how the FDA will take a closer look and make sure that applications are working correctly and depicting the right information. The FDA feels that it is important to give out accurate information to the persons using such apps.
